God has a purpose for your vocation! This may be hard to believe, but you don’t have to be a missionary or a pastor to have a vocational calling from God.
The craftsman, Bezalel, is a great example. When God instructed Moses to construct the tabernacle, someone needed to build the ark of the covenant and other furnishings.
In Exodus 31:2, God told Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel … and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills – to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze.”
The first person mentioned in Scripture as being filled with the Spirit was a craftsman, not a priest. God has a purpose for your work as well!
