As the world tries to redefine work, in this series we’re unpacking a more Biblical view on the importance of work. After God initiated His own work and created the Heavens and the Earth, He didn’t want to hoard all the fun or the responsibility, so He created mankind.

Take a look at why God created man.

Genesis 1:26 says, “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

God created mankind to co-labor with Him in being a caretaker of all that God had created. Your work matters to God!
