Some customers are ungrateful and unreasonable, regardless of what we do for them. The Apostle Paul says to remain under them, enjoying the freedom Christ gives us to serve well. Show them kindness and respect, even as others abuse and take advantage of us.
In 1 Corinthians 7, Paul wrote, “Each of you should remain as you were when God called you. Are you a slave? Don’t let that worry you—but if you get a chance to be free, take it.
If you find yourself in a toxic environment, seize the opportunity to be the one who isn’t toxic. Your light will quietly glow into the darkness.
Perhaps God appointed you for this so you could grow more Christ like as you lean more into God during life’s trials.
