Former Southwest airline pilot, Tammie Jo Shults, was constantly told that women had no business being pilots. She persevered, but was disappointed when a new commander forced her to take over the least desired trainer position.
Tammie was assigned to train people on how to handle stalled planes. Daily, she practiced and trained others on what to do when a plane has engine failure.
God knew that when Southwest flight 1380 had engine failure, the perfect person to be Captain of that flight was Tammie Jo Shults. He had prepared her for that role.
Ephesians 2:10 teaches, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
God can use unpleasant assignments for your good and His glory.
