The 2023 Freedom at Work Survey, performed by Ipsos, found that 42% of potential job seekers are much less likely to apply to work at a company whose work culture is hostile to their religious or political views. In my opinion, many workplace diversity programs are signaling employees that their personal religious views are secondary to the politically correct programs that many employees are having to endure.
66% of employees felt that their company’s commitment to diversity should include respect for a wide range of religious and political beliefs.
1 Peter 5:2 teaches, “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them.”
Care and concern for our employees’ beliefs should be of higher concern than jumping on political bandwagons that may dishonor your employees’ religious views.
