A Wall Street Journal-NORC survey revealed recently that 56% of people no longer believe a college education is worth the cost. This assessment was especially true for younger adults.

The price of college, online learning, and the huge amounts of student loan debt that haunts students for years has driven many to question the need for a college education.

Jesus chose untrained men as His disciples and trained them personally. In Luke 6:40, He said, “The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.”

Businesses looking to hire young employees may need to modify their job requirements, and their approach to training. Apprenticeship programs and teaching new hires your trade internally, may be a more effective strategy for the future.
