Sportswriter, Terry Pluto, interviewed Pastor Chuck Myricks about his tips for living out your faith at work. Pastor Myricks’ sales experience at IBM and Word Records provided him with wisdom worth sharing.
One of Pastor Myricks’ tips is to be a good teammate. There are times when your teammates need help.
You need to be considered a team player. You’re not expected to do the work for others, especially if they tend to be lazy. But everyone needs a helping hand at times.
Ecclesiastes 4 teaches, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”
Myricks reminds us that when we help others, avoid having a superior attitude. A humble spirit is better.
