Years ago, Kathy and I realized we needed an estate plan to assure the special needs of our son were addressed. We were referred to an estate attorney.

We filled out questionnaires, had a brief meeting with the attorney, and then very quickly thereafter, were handed a document that was supposed to be our final estate plan. When I reviewed the document, I was very disappointed.

Generosity is very important to us, but we were never asked any questions or given the opportunity to share about our desires. We were just a number to this attorney.

Philippians 2:4 teaches, “Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.”

Great customer service seeks understanding of your customer’s interest, not just your own.
