Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
In this series, we’re discussing the importance of developing, communicating and instilling core values into your organization. In Deuteronomy 6, God gave directions to the Israelites on how to instill His values into the hearts of children.
The final directive came from Deuteronomy 6:9 that says, “Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
The principle behind this verse emphasizes the importance of visible and physical reminders. If there is not a visible reminder in your workplace then your values will likely be forgotten.
If you desire your values to be remembered and embraced, it is helpful to post them on bulletin boards, encourage staff to hang them in their office or laminate a business card with the values listed for their wallet or purse.
