Our daily Integrity Moments are not only in written form, but, they also are recorded as a daily radio program and podcast. Due to time restrictions, I have a limited number of words to communicate each message.
These factors sometimes hinder me from providing a full context for my thoughts. This occasionally has led to some people taking away a completely different viewpoint than what I intended.
Context is critical in communication being properly received.
1 Corinthians 14:9 teaches, “Unless you utter by the tongue speech that is clear, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air.”
In business communications, it’s important to consider how others may view your message. Seek input and try to give readers as much context as possible.
