Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
In this series, we’ve been discussing how to move towards working 80% of your time in your areas of giftedness. The next step is to determine who will do the work you stop doing.
Although it may be costly at first, hiring the right people and delegating will pay off when everyone is focused on their own areas of giftedness.
Moses was trying to judge all Israel’s cases alone. In Exodus 18, Jethro advised him, “The thing that you are doing is not good. You will surely wear out, both yourself and these people who are with you, because the task is too heavy for you; you cannot do it alone.”
When you’ve determined where you should spend your time, find the right people to whom you can delegate the rest.
