When President Trump signed the recent tax reform bill, many businesses had an immediate response. Some gave bonuses or raises to their employees, some donated millions to charity, and some businesses passed it along to shareholders.
Most of us will also receive a windfall this month in our paycheck. With a windfall, we have a choice as to how we respond.
We can be generous, we can pay off debt, or we can buy something special for ourselves.
Matthew 6:20 teaches, “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
This windfall comes from God, ask Him how He would have you spend it.
