Dan was frustrated. His franchise business had more prospects than ever before, but his team had only landed one major account, compared to their goal of eight.

Despite Dan’s business being ranked as one of the top five in their industry and his team working hard on all the right things, their efforts weren’t bearing fruit. Dan began second guessing his own leadership.

That’s when I reminded him that “when we’ve diligently done our part, we have to realize that God’s part is outside of our control.” We have to trust God and His timing.

Proverbs 21:31 teaches, “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord.”

In your work, or business, do your part diligently, but you must trust God for the result.
