Wheaton College’s Center for Faith and Innovation performed a multiple-year research project to explore how faith manifests itself in business. The researchers categorized faith activities into three distinct categories: Embodied Faith, Operationalized Faith, and Internalized Faith.
Let’s begin this series with Embodied Faith.
According to businessasmission.com, Embodied Faith is the most visible form of faith. It includes mission statements that glorify God, prayer times, or a cross on the wall.
Ephesians 5:3 says, “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.”
Being the most visible expression of faith also makes embodied faith the most susceptible to criticism. If you talk the talk, you need to walk the walk.
