The hard thing for many to grasp about the “Me Too Movement” is why these women did not speak up sooner?
A professional woman who has been at high levels in corporate America recently shared with me her perspective. She stated that women serious about their vocation come to realize that speaking-up has been typically a death wish to their career.
Very few women would ever discuss the problem, causing them to feel isolated and alone. Recently discovering that other women shared similar experiences has empowered many women to speak out.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
When you’ve been wronged, remember that isolation is one of the enemy’s best tools. Be courageous and speak-up.
