On July 8th, possibly the largest mass baptism ever took place at Pirate’s Cove Beach in Southern California. Over 4,500 people were baptized that day during an outreach event held by Pastor Greg Laurie.
The Erwin Brothers used their God given gifts of movie making to produce the Jesus Revolution movie. Their story, which included Pastor Laurie, has now impacted millions of people, and according to someone baptized at Pirate’s Cove, was the springboard for this massive baptism.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
