Because I’ve recently spent months searching for good job applicants, I was intrigued by a Harvard Business Review article. This article identified a pool of hidden talent that is typically being overlooked.

The research conducted by Harvard Business School and Accenture discovered that automated hiring platforms often screen out qualified job seekers. These job applicants have unconventional backgrounds – such as caregivers, veterans, immigrants, people with physical and mental challenges, and the previously incarcerated.

Their research estimates that there are 27 million “hidden” workers who want to work.

In Matthew 25:40, Jesus said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

In today’s tight job market, you may find good talent and serve Jesus by expanding your job search filters.
