It seemed strange that so many people were resigning from their jobs in the Great Resignation without a place to go. I suspected that many were starting their own small businesses.
The Wall Street Journal affirmed my thoughts when they discovered that 4.54 million new businesses filed for federal tax identification numbers from January through October of 2020, up 56% from the same period in 2019.
In Acts 18, we read, “Paul went to see Aquila and Priscilla, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.”
Paul used his tentmaking skills to have the freedom to also minister in the synagogue. God is raising up new entrepreneurs. It will be fascinating to see how many use their new platform for ministry in the workplace.
