Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
When I was in college, Bill lived across the hall from me for a semester. Most mornings I saw Bill rise early, head down to breakfast, then grab some books and head off towards school.
When the following semester started many of us were surprised when Bill didn’t come back to school. It was then we learned of Bill’s deception.
Bill lived in our house the entire semester without ever enrolling in college! Since we had a full house, Bill’s deception cost a real student a place to stay.
Ephesians 5:6 says, “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”
Some deceptions are hard to detect. Trust, but verify, is a good motto in business.
