Recently, there has been a public outcry by many against some of our Supreme Court justices and their decisions. These critics contend that the Supreme Court’s decisions have been unjust. But, who defines justice?
When an individual is the final arbiter of justice, personal beliefs can cloud decisions.
In 2 Chronicles 19:6, King Jehoshaphat instructed his appointed judges, “Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment. Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God…”
Whether you are a judge or a business leader who must make judgment calls, remember God is the final and ultimate arbiter of justice.
