In Exodus 4, God instructs Moses to return to Egypt to free the Israelites from slavery. Most of the chapter, however, is Moses making excuses for his involvement.
First, Moses asks, “What if the elders don’t believe me?” God answers Moses by turning Moses’ staff into a snake. Then Moses complained that he wasn’t a very good speaker, and asked the Lord to send someone else.
God addressed each of Moses’ issues, but in Exodus 4:14, we read, “Then the anger of the Lord burned against Moses, and He said, “Is there not your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that he speaks fluently.”
Sometimes, in business, God calls us to scary tasks. God may graciously listen to your concerns, but at some point, He expects you to stop whining.
