At our Summit, Terry made an additional point about working in our giftedness that resonated with me. When we stray into areas in which we are not gifted, we rob our team members of joy. By us doing the work they enjoy doing, we deprive them of their joy.
Ecclesiastes 2:24 says, “A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God.”
Don’t rob your team of their joy. Stay in your lane and do what you’re gifted to do.
