Taking a day like President’s Day to be reminded of great leaders and their past struggles is a helpful way to inspire and shape the culture of a nation. Businesses have the same opportunity!
Hebrews 11 highlights several heroes of the faith like Abraham, Moses, and Gideon and chronicles their experiences to encourage us by their past struggles and victories.
Hebrews 12:1 goes on to say, “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
If you desire to establish a strong culture within your company, pausing to periodically celebrate some of your organization’s past victories and heroes is a good move.
