Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

This week we’re discussing Carmen Gallo’s three recommendations for developing a pitch or promoting your organization. The first tip is “Keep it Short.”

Gallo illustrates his point by sharing the pitch that was used to launch Google. The founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, told an investor: “Google organizes the world’s information and makes it universally accessible.”

These 10 simple words engaged their audience, which led to funding for their vision.

Jesus also knew the importance of being succinct with His message. In Luke 19:10 Jesus said, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

If you are trying to get “buy in” from others about your organization’s vision, Gallo recommends trying to keep your pitch to 140 characters or less.
