Recently, I felt God encouraging me to take on a new work project. I feel underqualified and do not have the experience necessary for this project to succeed.
In my flesh, I want to pass on this new project to avoid the possibility of failure.
Encouragement came recently, however, through reading Henry and Richard Blackaby’s Experiencing God devotional. They wrote, “If you attempt only things that you know are possible with the visible resources you possess, those around you will not see God at work.”
Jesus said in Luke 18:27, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
If we only take on the possible projects, we will miss out on the opportunity to see God at work, and for others to see God make the impossible, possible.
