Years ago, my senior pastor, Tom Nelson, delivered a series on the importance of work to God that led to Tom writing a book called “Work Matters.” This book dramatically changed the direction of Tom’s ministry.
Tom has since spoken to many church leaders and seminaries about the theology of work and the importance of pastors equipping the saints for the workplace.
This eventually led to the formation of a separate ministry called “Made to Flourish” that now has over 1,800 pastors as members.
Ephesians 4:1 teaches, “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called.”
