Sportswriter, Terry Pluto, interviewed Pastor Chuck Myricks about some tips on living out your faith at work. Pastor Myricks worked in sales and marketing for IBM and Word Records prior to becoming a pastor.

Pastor Myricks first tip is to be consistent. Myricks points out that you are at work to work. Peers must trust you.

If you take thirty-minute breaks when you’re only allowed fifteen minutes, you undermine your testimony. If you’re known for showing up late or for inappropriate actions, you will not reflect your faith well.

Proverbs 10:9 says, “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”

Being consistent in modeling integrity in your workplace is one of the best ways to live out your faith and in building trust.
