For months, Matt had been dragging his feet in carrying out the assignment he felt God had placed on his heart. “What if this doesn’t work out? I have too many other things on my plate right now,” were some excuses keeping Matt from getting started.

The “Change” occurred one day when Matt took the first step.  In doing so, a momentum was created that energized him to do more.  As a result, opportunities presented themselves that had not been there before.

What is keeping you from taking that first step?

Proverbs 10:4 reminds us that we can’t experience God’s prosperity by waiting idle, “Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.”

Success is not a result of chance, but a result of being diligent in taking that first step.
