Many company retirement plans invest in mutual funds that own stock in businesses that promote pornography, abortions, and other immoral behaviors. Since these stocks are buried in a long list of otherwise good companies they are often overlooked.
Immorality is so prevalent in our culture today that it’s difficult to do the research necessary to assure that we personally are not investing in activities that would offend God.
Ephesians 5:3 teaches, “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.”
It’s difficult to manage but, when possible, avoid even a hint of supporting immorality, even in your investment choices. If we all did, we could eliminate the funding for many evil businesses.
