Between banking and ministry, I’ve been around a lot of business leaders blessed with extreme wealth. I’ve seen those who hoard their wealth, and, the misery wealth can bring.
But I’ve also known those who view wealth as a blessing from God, to be used to bless others. From the world’s perspective, if you give more, you’ll have less; but from God’s perspective, giving more results in being blessed more.
In Deuteronomy 15:10, God says about the needy, “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.”
As we examine our own hearts, an important question should be, “Am I a hoarder or a blesser?”
