Let’s start from the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve these instructions in Genesis 1:28, “God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.”
God considered multiplication a blessing. He multiplied the animals, fish, birds, and plants. While Adam was charged with filling the earth with more people.
