Years ago, I started a consulting practice with my friend, Gregg. As 50/50 partners, I hoped Gregg would provide half of the start-up capital, but that wasn’t possible at that time.
From the sale of a bank I had worked at, I received enough money to fund the start up. But, I didn’t want to let go of my money. Then, God reminded me it was His money and He wanted me to fund the new business.
It was a struggle getting the concept of God’s ownership from my head to my heart, but eventually I submitted.
Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
