Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Since 2000, my friend Will has owned a $4.5 million dollar a year real estate development company. Yet in 2012, Will was unsure why his business was failing, so we prayed for wisdom.
A few months later, Will joyfully reported his business had turned around because of Proverbs 22:10, “Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; Yes, strife and reproach will cease.”
He realized some of his employees lacked gratitude. It was painful but once he let them go the other employees came to life, and they started showing profits.
Although it was hard, in some ways it was best for them too. Why would they remain in a place where they’re not happy? Although ingratitude is their character flaw, in time they’ll blame everyone else for their negativity.
