My friend, Bill, was traveling through Texas when he reviewed a list of people in that area who had previously gifted money to the ministry Bill represented. He noticed that someone nearby had made a $100 donation.
Many development people might just send a tax receipt for a donation of that size, but not Bill. He drove to their home to thank them personally for their gift, resulting in a new relationship.
Later that year, that couple won the lottery. Because of Bill’s faithfulness they sent a donation of $100,000 to the organization Bill represented.
In Luke 16:10, Jesus said, “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.”
