Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

According to ACLJ, the American Center for Law and Justice, an HR manager with Timken’s Missouri manufacturing plant was told to no longer wear a cross necklace or have a Bible on his desk.

Because this violates this employee’s religious rights, ACLJ sent a demand notice to the company on behalf of this manager. Timken reversed their restrictions, and granted him an accommodation, but days later he was fired. ACLJ is now pursuing further legal action.

Businesses can be forced to make religious accommodations, but true change only comes when their heart leads to changed behavior.

In Matthew 3:8, John the Baptist proclaimed to the Pharisees, “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”

If an employer gives you lip service, but you see no fruit, you may need a new job.
