According to the Eventide Funds newsletter, while the senior pastor of Cedar Park Church in Seattle introduced their new Workplace Ministry Pastor, he made a profound statement.
He said, “Fifty years ago, virtually no church in America had a youth pastor. Today, almost every church with multiple pastors has a youth pastor.” He went on to say that “Today, virtually no church has a workplace pastor. But in another 50 years every church will have one.”
Ephesians 4:11 teaches, “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service.”
