The Apostle Paul wrote in Titus 3:14, “And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.”
This verse has guided me in my career choices. That’s why I choose to provide cabinets for healthcare, offices, schools, and airports. That’s why I prefer not to build cabinets for casinos.
That’s why, because of the needs of the community, I seriously considered giving up cabinet making and getting a fleet of garbage trucks.
Do work that meets people’s life needs. It’s not about money, it’s about what need we’re filling. If you’re meeting people’s needs the money will follow.
Use your skills in the spirit of love to meet people’s everyday needs. They’ll likely pay you to come back tomorrow.
