When we finally met, we discovered that his phone was broken, and my number was blocked.
In Joshua 22, the Israelites that lived east of the Jordan built an altar. The rest of the Israelites assumed they were defying God and prepared for war.
Fortunately, they sent the priest to ask about the altar first. They discovered that the altar was a witness to their faithfulness, not their defiance.
In Joshua 22:33, we read, “They were glad to hear the report and praised God. And they talked no more about going to war against them…”
Communication, rather than assumptions, is better for discovering true motives.
