Desperation can surface when sales quotas are not being met, or, when December 31stis drawing near and fundraising goals are falling short. When your livelihood or commissions are at risk, desperation can become obvious to the customer.

Unfortunately, most customers can sense desperation, and they usually respond poorly. This can cause your results to be even worse.

For those of us who say we trust in God and His provision, desperation should not be the driver in our life.

Luke 12 teaches, “Do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.”

When desperation rises within you, remember God knows what you need. Trust Him.
