According to psypost.org, researcher Verena Krause performed a study on creativity. The study group was told to think about God while doing creative exercises. The control group was not advised to think about God.
The researchers found that those participants who focused on God were less creative. The study seems illogical to me.
It’s as if the researchers believed that God works for us instead of us working for Him.
God is the initiator of creativity. Noah wasn’t brainstorming about building a boat. Instead, in Genesis 6 we read, “So God said to Noah, ‘I am going to put an end to all people, … So make yourself an ark of cypress wood.’”
God is the author of creativity, and He will direct our creativity in His timing, not ours.
