At 24 years old, Liz Wiseman was surprisingly asked to develop Oracle University from scratch. Through that experience she discovered four principles that can help people overcome what she calls the “Knowledge Trap.”
The first principle is simple yet profound: Ask questions. By being a new college graduate Liz Wiseman had no knowledge or experience to draw from to build a corporate university.
Asking questions of experts and novices alike enabled her to learn from others and to gain insight she may have never learned otherwise.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
If you’re starting a new project don’t be limited by your own knowledge. Instead, seek out others and ask questions.
