Paul was a pharmaceutical salesman who called on a doctor’s office in his new territory only to learn that they had a rule. They only allowed the first three sales reps on any given morning to actually meet with a doctor. Paul was fourth!
Then Dan stepped in. Dan, a sales rep for a competing company, approached the doctor’s assistant and said, “The doctors see me all the time. Can you let Paul take my place today?”
Paul later learned that Dan was a Christian who also just happened to be the number one pharmaceutical salesman in the nation.
Proverbs 11:25 teaches, “The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.”
Dan viewed the world through God’s abundance, not the world’s scarcity. How do you view your work?
