When trials come my way, they usually come in waves, one after another until I become weary. Maybe you can relate.
But I’ve also learned that struggling with the waves of trouble is like building up an immunity to sickness. I become stronger each time I successfully navigate those personnel issues or tough business decisions.
The Bible is full of paradoxes to help guide us through these trials.
James 1:2 teaches, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
It seems crazy to be joyful about my trials, but I do appreciate the end result. If you’re facing overwhelming issues, hang on. God’s making you stronger for the next wave of trials.
