When my wife, Kathy, was newer in her faith journey she would occasionally ask me to pray for her. Then she would say sincerely, “God hears your prayers better than mine.”
Because of some of Kathy’s past sins, she doubted that God would listen to her prayers. It took a while for her to believe that God had forgiven her sins and that God loved to hear from her.
Maybe you’ve had doubts at times of the effectiveness of your prayers.
Proverbs 15:29 says, “The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.”
If you’ve chosen to believe that Jesus is the Messiah of the world, then God has granted you righteousness. If your workplace needs prayer, pray boldly, and know God is listening.
