Over 1200 people were packed into the Iowa Governor’s Prayer Breakfast this year. One of the things I appreciate most about this event each year is that there are no denominational turf battles. Instead, it is an event for the capital C church.
In John 17:20-21, Jesus said, “I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (NIV)
The workplace is another place where we can be unified without concern about denominations. May we display unity as Christians in the marketplace, so that those who are not, come to know Jesus.
