My associate, Mike, and I were trying to find the Skywalk in downtown Des Moines without going outside into the torrential rain. We thought we had succeeded when we saw the S sign over a staircase. But then we discovered that the staircase was closed for construction.
Mike asked a nearby construction worker if he knew a way to the Skywalk. The man said, “Follow me. I’m going to the Skywalk.”
Because we willingly followed him, he became our guide through uncharted territory.
In John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
In business, there are many times we face uncharted territory and need a guide. Fortunately, we can follow Jesus.
