Working from home is like being in the middle of the “Interrupting Cow knock, knock joke.” Yes, that joke gets old and so may the interruptions at the home office.
Perspective on the interruptions can transform the home environment. Teamwork’s recent article encourages remote employees to, “Make time for them.” Making time for interruptions will lead to fewer because attention tanks will be full.
Jesus was interrupted while he was about his business. Luke 5:19 says, “But finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus.”
Jesus exemplified welcoming interruptions because he knew the opportunity that existed to positively impact many lives from one welcomed interruption.
