2020 will be a year discussed and remembered in the history books. With the pandemic, the contentious election and racial tensions, 2020 was hard on most of us.
Many of us have been looking forward to 2021 and hope for a better year. We finally have the opportunity to turn the page and start fresh. Yet, some of 2020’s challenges linger.
For some, that may bring hopelessness, but God desires us to remember that with each new day he provides hope and opportunity.
Lamentations 3:22 teaches, “The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning.”
2021 may still have some lingering issues, but we can have hope in God’s goodness. Let’s press on, grateful for God’s mercy and compassion.
