Del Tackett, creator of the Truth Project, shared at a conference I attended that as a pilot he was trained to trust his gauges, because they tell you what is real.
He said there are times when a pilot sees what appears to be a horizon in the clouds that may be tilted. When the pilot begins to believe that it is a horizon, and when what he sees becomes more real to him than his gauges, it can lead to poor decisions, and a possible crash.
Proverbs 28:26 teaches, “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely will be delivered.”
In business, when we believe what we think we see, rather than trusting God’s Word, we are headed for a possible collision.
