During a panel discussion I attended in Northwest Arkansas, the CEOs of Walmart, Tyson Food and JB Hunt Transportation were asked for practical ways that they apply their faith to their decisions, especially being CEOs of publicly traded companies. All three mentioned one common approach.
Each of these companies have core values easily found in scripture. By testing their major decisions against their core values and their company mission, they have discovered a way to stay true to their faith.
1 Timothy 5:21 teaches, “I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.”
Having Godly core values for your business, and testing all decisions against them is wise for any organization.
